Fabulous news!  Columbus Office Products, Inc. and Malone Office Environments are merging companies June 1, 2012!  How absolutely fantastic is that?!?!?   Not only will you be getting the best of all worlds Columbus, Georgia has to offer in the way of office supplies, office furniture and office equipment, but you can now get it all in one place!  And the beauty of that is both companies are local, and both are staying local!!!!

Malone’s is almost 80 years old.  COPI was 11 years old on May 11.  While COPI’s expertise is office equipment, I, Debbie Seeley, will be gaining knowledge in supplies and furniture.  Ask me anything you like.  If I don’t know the answer, I’ll sure find out for you and put you in the right direction.  Both companies are extremely customer oriented and service is top drawer!

I tell ya, these days just fly by!  One minute I’m blogging around Valentine’s Day, and next thing I know it’s almost Easter!  From hearts to bunnies!  And, in between, was my birthday!  March 5.  Happy Birthday to me!

Drawing a blank on how to tie in cold, hard copiers/printers with warm things like chocolate hearts, flowers and cuddly bunnies!  But, look at it this way.  Once you’ve created a masterpiece, sent it to the copier to be printed IN FABULOUS SHARP COLOR and hold the final copy in your hands, you’ll have a smile on your face that surpasses ANY Valentine’s candy you’ve had in a long while.  Just the tittilation of the colors meshing together to create this said masterpiece is overwhelming and joyous!  And YOU created it, you Edgar Allen Poe you!

Go ahead and shop for your Easter Basket.  Pick out the grass, the eggs, the candy and the cute bunnies to cuddle with, (preferably stuffed)! I’m a bit early………but that’s ok!  I have candy, jewelry, flowers, spas and copiers on my mind!  Copiers???  Think all shades of red, pink and white and those are the colors my SHARP COLOR COPIERS can make!  Along with blues, greens, purples and yellows!

OK, so copiers may not be the FIRST thing you think of when it comes to your honey getting a VD gift……er, huh, Valentine’s Day gift.  But, think about it.  Let’s say your loved one, spouse, significant other or even your brother (you DO love your brother, right?) owns a company. Whew! What a year 2011 was.  Truth be told, glad to see it go. 2012 is going to be fabulous I just know it!

Who couldn’t use a new or PRE-owned, off-lease color copier?  The new ones retail for around $10,000.00!  An off-lease color copier, fully loaded runs around $3,500.00.  And you can lease an off-lease copier!  They come complete with a finisher, network and scanner capability, fax modem and as many drawers as you have teeth!  Well, maybe not that many, unless you only have 2 teeth.

We offer the service and supplies that go with each machine.  We have machines 18-60 copies per minute.  If you need service that day, barring any emergencies, you will have your machine serviced that day!  Same with supplies!

Whew!  Didn’t I just get through with my Halloween Candy?  Didn’t I just have turkey for Thanksgiving?  Is it really time to shop for Christmas? Well, it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas! So, ready or not, here I come!

Somehow, I went from September to November in my blog-o-sphere. One minute I’m chatting about Labor Day, next minute I’m chatting about Turkey Day!  Where has the year gone?

Did I blink and miss it?  Wasn’t it just Labor Day?  And I know I heard Friday was the first day of Fall……is that a fact……it feels like the first day of Summer…..!!  I’ve resigned myself to the fact that I’ll wake up Christmas Day wearing shorts and a t-shirt.  Actually, that did happen several Christmases ago.  It was so hot and humid, we had the doors open with the air conditioner going! Odd to say the least, but that’s the South!!

Even though we’re still in for HOT, balmy, humid weather for a while longer, August is gone.  There is something about August that just does not excite me……..except it precedes September……..and September excites me!  There are no major holidays/birthdays/anniversaries for me in August.  Only hot weather……and hot flashes. So I’m bored with the month.

School is now in session.  I know Fall is right around the corner.  Cooler weather.  Football is just a few days away.  LOVE it, and all of the food/drinks/food/parties/food/comraderie that goes with football!  And, oh, cooler weather!

I went to the University of Tennessee.  If you’re in the market for a good copier, printer, fax machine, interactive “finger touch” whiteboard, don’t hold that against me.  I’ll pull for your team……….as long as we’re not playing each other.  Heck, my child and money went to Auburn, so, er, huh, ugh, I pull for Auburn when I have to.

So, check your equipment inventory.  If you have a little bit of everything that is costing you a fortune, liquidate and purchase one machine that does it all……..copy, print, scan and fax…………and we have color copiers extremely affordable too!  Leasing is an option!

Not trying to depress you at all……….but geeeze!  Where does the time go?  Seems like only yesterday I was letting my car warm up and melt the ice on my windshield.  Since it’s going to be around 100 today, I’d gladly take that time back and watch the ice slowly slither down my windshield as the heat melts it away slowly but surely.

As they say, “slowyly but surely” wins the race!  We’ve been a Panasonic Dealer for 10 years.  I’ve been in the industry for over 25.  I finally realized there is another vendor out there besides Panasonic, and that would be Sharp.  We are now a Sharp Dealer. Sharp has been around for years, but I never truly looked at all of the fine products they produce, just like Panasonic.  There are tv’s, dvd’s, office products, etc.  Both are fantastic, and both fit certain niches’.  Panasonic no longer makes the big floor model copiers, but thank goodness Sharp does!  Panasonic makes a fabulous “Smartboard”, known as the Panaboard.  Sharp doesn’t.  They both have super printers in all price ranges.  Panasonic makes a mean Scanner that would make your wig fly if you saw it in action!

I was going to dedicate this blog to my Panasonic Interactive “Finger Touch” Whiteboard Panaboard that is pictured in the upper left of this home page.  I am still promoting my Panaboard, (which is in a class all by itself), but I am feeling a pull to promote that we are now a Sharp Copier Dealer. So that is what I am going to do.  More on the Panaboard later.  By all means, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me! Especially if you are a school, have training seminars or are just curious!

What a difference a day truly does make!  I have been in the copier industry for 25 years, and for 25 years all I sold was Panasonic.  As fabulous as Panasonic is, I had on blinders thinking there was no other vendor out there that would be comparable.  I hate to admit I was wrong.  While Panasonic fills a much-needed niche as far as copiers, fax machines, scanners and Interactive Panaboards, I must say Sharp copiers can hold their own when it comes to fun!

Since becoming a Sharp Dealer I have had a ball ”playing” on the keypad and keyboard.  Not to say that the Panasonic isn’t “user friendly” because it definitely is by customer’s comments. However, the Sharp copier, especially the Sharp color copier just has a “simpler” way of tasking.  I learn by example, and, must say after spending time on a copier, (so I can be savvy in training the customer), I am pleasantly surprised.  There’s still a lot to learn…….but that’s the fun part!
